SEARICE held Farmers’ Assembly at President Roxas, North Cotabato, Philippines on Dec 14, 2019.

Two hundred farmers from five municipalities from the provinces of North Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat attended the event. The assembly aimed at gathering SEARICE farmer partners to help enhance the bond among them and create a strong network of farmers that will be able to voice their issues and concerns all the way to the national level.

​

The event also recognised outstanding farmer partners who have contributed in the conservation, development, and sustainable use of plant genetic resources and advancement of farmers rights.
